The Longer Way...

Poems are the back roads of literature. They’re asking you to slow down. You’ve got to watch out for the speed limits in all the little towns. The cops are looking for you. And, there will be roadblocks, whether something in the way of road construction, or something more like a milk cow.

 

Airport Fiction and interstates are the fastest way to see absolutely nothing. Poems and back roads are for the blesséd few who have decided that expediency and arriving early are overrated, if not ridiculous wastes of time. Instead, they are the best way to… see… and experience the world we live in.
